High solids thickener

💧 What is it?

The thickener is a device designed to separate solids from liquids through gravitational sedimentation, without the need for mechanical components. Its design incorporates a deep cone geometry and internal clarification modules, offering an efficient, reliable, and low-maintenance solution for a wide variety of industrial processes.


Thanks to its operation without moving parts or motors, the thickener operates continuously with minimal energy requirements, resulting in significant operational savings and high operational availability in demanding environments.


⚙️ How does it work?

  1. Feeding: The mixture of solids and liquids (suspension) is introduced into the upper central part of the equipment.
  2. Sedimentation: Solids begin to settle by gravity towards the bottom of the deep cone, forming a layer of high concentration without mechanical assistance.
  3. Clarification: The remaining liquid rises and passes through inclined plate modules, which promote the sedimentation of fine particles.
  4. Expected results:
  • Solids concentration in the lower discharge: up to +85%
  • Clarified water available for reuse: more than 90%

High Resolution Clarifiers

💧What is it?

The high-resolution clarifier is designed for the purification of liquids with low suspended solids content, ideal for industrial processes requiring clear, reusable water. It is focused on the treatment of dilute effluents (<5% solids), achieving a discharge with less than 100 ppm of suspended solids.

Its design incorporates inclined plate modules, which increase sedimentation efficiency and allow fine particles to be separated without the need for additional mechanisms or continuous energy consumption.


⚙️How does it work?

The team is made up of:

  • A square upper body, which receives the mixture to be treated.
  • A lower conical section, where solids settle.

The liquid is fed through the top center. Thanks to its geometry, solids naturally settle to the bottom of the cone, from where they are discharged by gravity. At the same time, the water rises through the clarification module system, where fine particles settle, producing a highly clarified effluent.
